LeonDegrelle.s My comment was NOT directed at you, but the politburo commisar who posted the original statement on this thread. I was in the Royal Navy, and did operate in Ships, and can state that ours (British) were always better than commy stuff following us in a cloud of smoke!!

@tomh3017 YEs, but heave you seen the state of the Russian fleet to be brutal here? It is mainly 1970's stuff, and 1970/1980's weapons. Drones will play a bigger part of naval warfare, this has been apparent since before the Ukraine war, by the way. The government have said they will start retrofitting in 2027. This is already ready for use now. Where do you get your ideas. OH as for the NHS the best Tory invention ever isn't it? Also just how is the NHS underfunded? Is that by your standards, or the rest of the world? Because there are plenty of countries that spend far more on health care, and get way worse treatment for their money. The edited bit: Even the US Navy only has one useable Laser at sea, and that is still undergoing sea trials. So what are you doing comparison with for your silly statement?

@cjjk9142 No they don't have an unlimited budget. For a very simplistic example the USA cannot afford to train it's marine corps to the same standard as the Royal Marines. They don't have everything first either, another example : the first successful test of a Hypersonic missile was by the UK, (by that I mean it hit it's designated target, way back the same years as the QE carrier was launched two years later the USA was boasting about it's "New" hypersonic missile. No they don't they didn't invent Chobham armour the best in the world for tanks. No they don't they aren't at the forefront of railgun technology that would be the UK.
