Very obviously always the plan. Kherson would be a massive victory for Ukraine, but this has the real oppportunity to become a rout, and shows the general unpreparedness of All Russian forces.

@SheryAwan123 No they are not. The initial hit will have killed some of the crew. They always do.

@kudajingkrak4919 What about European Apple products? He is wearing a watch made in another European country, and assembled in the Czech Republic. Over half of Asian Apple products are made in South Korea for very good political reasons! About a third of All other Apple products are made (assembled) in either Malasia, or Thailand! Methinks you do protesteth too much!!

@2000jago No Moscow admits it has sunk, plus the initial hit will have killed some of the crew.

A long historical perspective? when the UK, or England and France have been allies as long as England (UK) and Portugal then someone can say that is a long perspective. The Anglo Portuguese alliance treaty was signed at Windsor castle on May the 9th 1386.

NATO cannot get involved in Ukraine, unless Russia as a last resort bombs the Ukrainian base that houses the British unit that looks after what is considered NATO soil, as the joint training ground. NATO is a defensive agreement purely.

@jamesrosella529 So pray tell exactly why they haven't done so yet!!

@francoisleyrat8659 Respectfully it WAS France that made the UK visitors to the rest of Europe HAVE to travel with passports. It is now easier to get into Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Germany since we left the EU.

@francoisleyrat8659 What is an EU wide policy? The Shengen area was supposed to be passport free. However if travelling to my mother's country of Birth (Germany), I was required to show my passport upon entry, the same in Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Now after we left I haven't shown my passport once to anyone on enterring the EU. PS EVEN MY MOTHER voted to leave the EU at the referendum. Meanwhile I was the only person in my entire family to vote remain, and I did at the time, travel to Europe rather a lot with work, and Dance lessons I taught there as well. Now I am retired, and travel less.

@lancemarchetti8673 Where have you been living for the past 100 years?

Pretty much like China should reconsider who it's real freinds are in the world.

Yes we know. this constantly hear how Russia has wiped out the Ukrainian defences, then BAM, Oh Russia is losing in another area. I see Russia has shelled the Nuclear site the inspectors are in both today, and Yesterday. Nice work Orc, but it is easy to win on a computer, onlt real forces win in the real world, and those aren't Russian Orcs.

@epoxy1710 So I searched in Russian here for how many tanks has the Russian army destroyed in Kherson? Nothing, just more reports of Russian tank losses. Russia have confirmed they lost 12 tanks on the 18th of August in Kherson, and then just 5 days ago 25 tanks, and 37 armoured fighting vehicles. You see rubber doesn't stop NLAWS. Russia cannot afford reactive defences on their tanks and armour so are using one of the most volitile things in heat rubber as a defence. LOL bouncing away NLAW blasts with Rubber Putin is seeing over the slow but sure destruction of his armed forces. The Russian bear has, under Putin, become the russian mouse, and the laughing stock of the world!! HAHAHAHHA

@murphy7801 I know the word is assembled. I was simply pointing out that China assembles (if that suites your particular barrrier) some of the world's Iphones, while the majority are made (assembeled) elsewhere. Lavrov's particular watch is most likely (as are the majority of European IPhone gadgets) assembled in the Czech republic. What was your point here?

@ChrisWar666 So I had my passport checked and stamped everytime we travelled to see my family in Germany, or I was traveling to the rest of the EU for work. Over this last three years I haven't is all I am saying. Travel for me personally has become far more easy since we left than whilst we were in the EU! Maybe it is just a personal thing, but it is what has happened or me, I am not claiming this has happened for everyone at all, I am just stating what has happened for me. OK?
