Look I live in the Uk but have German family German energy bills have trippled thus far this year, your farcical 38% id from where exactly? So I did a tad more searching Italy's power bills over a blazing hot summer have doubeld and are rising further, France have frozen their energy prices, but they are a socialist state and EDF is state owned so has to do what they are told, However France's bills for energy are so high they are reopening ALL of their Nuclear power stations (such is the shortsightedness of the left!!),Their bills for the French Government have quadrupled, and are still rising. Denmark were the reason why the EU has capped the price they will pay for Russian oil, as their prices are also through the roof. Even Dutch prices have risen by 70% with another 20% to 30% on the way. Why are your figures so wildly wrong?

@MrBabylon Yes I do know most, but not all of this. I live in the county in England that was the first place in the world to go to court over so called green policies before the environment was a thing. Here in Dorset the first so called environmental charge taken to court (before there were environmental laws in the uK, but still even just over 100 years ago dumping was illegal, made so by the Tory party i will have you know here.) Well here near a world famous site seeing spot called Durdle door way back in 1905 Dorset took a farmer to the high court in London for dumping in a sea cove, and they won. So don't try to lecture me about treating the sea ethically you just read stuff comment on it but very obviously do nothing about it. Until you do stop lecturing other like some politburo commisar using things you give lip service to only. I personally run a small charity here in Dorset looking after our beaches I am not a gren meanie by any stretch of the imagination, but realise that if we use these amenities, we the public have the right and privelidge to look after them.

@wiremucurtis3891 Yes, and one of the main reasons for this is that we are one of the main producers of gas, and oil in Europe. However it doesn't matter which government we have had there has never been seen a reason to store gas or oil in large quantities. A shortcoming of both major parties by the way. We produce oil, and gas so why should we store it? Has always been the argument against this from whatever party is in power. Also during the troubles with Ireland when they statrted bombing on the mainland here storing gas, and oil in large quantities in England, Wales, or Scotland, was seen as a major security risk, one well designed IRA bomb could have devastated an entire port region.

@DeHyntonGaming When your taxes go up to pay for this are you prepared to pay for this? No is the answer you really have to say here, no one wants to go back to the insufferably high taxes of the 1970's anywhere in the world.
