  1. Technically it isn't a law. It didn't pass through both houses of parliament twice each, (the minimum requirement) and the Queen has never signed it into law (THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT BRITISH LAWS). There was never a debate about the technicalities of the measure. It is an emergency measure and as such it has no meaning. It isn't even in the same league as a misdemeanor, or a police warning. So what all the fuss is about I totally fail to see. Neither of them has comitted acriminal act like the low level crime of speeding, and nearly all MP's even the SNP councillor known as Twankey in Scotland have at least one of those!!
