  1. China told other countries NO and to stop sending them their plastic garbage. Until that change, some countries including the US, sent their recycle garbage to China. :(

  2. Many people in China still don't know how to recycle. This is a new concept for many. There is even a new toy for kids now, to help teach them how. It comes with a few bins and a bunch of cards with various pictures on them. Shows where to put what item into what bin. I go to mountain forest parks and see cardboard or plastic in the garbage bin and not the recycle one. which is connected to the garbage side Recycle/non recyclable garbage bins are all over the place in the cities. You can easily see a few of these on one city street.

  3.  @ghostofsolomon237  Beijing doesn't have the 4 cluster. Those are uncommon to see outside of communities. I'm talking about anywhere outside of the communities you live in. The one bin you speak of has recycle/residual trash parts. Those are everywhere even in parks and mountain parks I feel bad for patrols though..they have to clean up small mountains of trash left by visitors. It's sad.
