One interesting comparison is that in the final days of Rome celebrity chefs were huge stars, we have entire networks dedicated to them.

We can certainly hope its that soon.

The public will force it to stop long before it hits a court room.

@jewelnabq01 It is ridiculous to suggest that America is the bastion of free speech, we are currently attacking investigative journalists, censoring doctors, nurses and anyone who has the temerity to challenge the narrative.

Go to the Netherlands then, join the anti-lockdown riots in Rotterdam if you don't like the US
2
The entire Jan 6 narrative was cooked up by politicians and executed by the FBI for wholly partisan reasons. Anyone who thinks it was an attack on our nation is a fool that watches too much main stream news.
2
Suggesting that you should get a vaccination after you have contracted a disease, any disease, is bad medical practice. Vaccines are always used prier to contracting. Suggesting that now that they have COVID they should also get a vaccination shot is crazy talk.
2
What a one sided load of shiite, as a historian you are promoting the false narrative of the US propaganda machine and you are ok with that ?

Blame government not capitalists.
1
@superbananas7792 Because government is the entity we pay to protect the people from abuse by corporations.
1
@superbananas7792 The fact that politicians are corrupt doesn't change the role of government. a Corporation is a creation of the state not the other way around. We only have corporations because government passes laws allowing them to exist.

Southern Ukraine has already been won by Russia. They control the entire southern coast.

Microdosing has been a strategy of users for decades, it wasnt invented recently, you just lack perspective on the past.

Really, its just weird ? The entire collapse of the dollar and rising prices is planned, the largest increase in government money printing in my lifetime is not an accident.

Working a job is not a form of slavery unless you have a slaves mindset. Are you a slave ?
1
@troypropes1182 Nobody forces you too work for a corporation, it is your wants and desires that motivate you to work not because you are being forced too. If you want to come live on my farm you will answer to no-one except your own stomach, if you want to eat you have to work to raise food. If you want to sleep indoors out of the rain you have to build your own shelter. Thats not slavery, thats survival and you can make that decision today, it means you have to sacrifice to have that lifestyle though.
1
@troypropes1182 This is exactly what I expected, invited to live for free on my land and you immediately go to the next step of claiming the land isn't mine. Its not living on the land for free that is an issue, it is your never ending sense of entitlement.
1
@troypropes1182 Do you think the people on that land petition the government to protect their land ? The government has the ability to protect them and the land but the corruption of politicians is easily manipulated by the corporation. The fault lies with the government not living up to the commitment it made. This is a typical story of government, look at the lies and betrayal of the native population of any nation on earth. More government lies and failure to live up to their commitments. I am fully on board with collective living and shared responsibilities just don't ask me to trust anyone enough to put them in charge - i.e. government.
1
@troypropes1182 All of this is based in your personal worldview that other humans cannot be trusted. Its hilariously paradoxical that you can't find it within yourself to trust other people and you reject the ideas that foster trust. You are truly lost and no someone I would allow to stay on my land specifically because without trust for other people you are untrustworthy. An agreement of shared ownership of the land, you mean like a contract that spells out the private property rights of everyone involved - thats sounds terribly capitalist of you !
1
@troypropes1182 Under socialism there are no contracts or personal property which is what you are advocating. Suggesting a contract that spells out the ownership rights of a collective set of people is capitalism not socialism.
1
@troypropes1182 Its been nice chatting with you but this conversation has devolved into nothing. Have a nice life.
