Western tolerance has nothing on Japanese tolerance!
10
@far-dam7711 🤮 Who are you to say what's a diverse population? What minority population does it need? 2%? 5%? Japan has more foreign born citizens than Poland. Further, at some point those European countries had to make a choice to become diverse. Was it wrong when they made that choice?
4
@thesoulbrother8636 those other tribes saw their land as their nations. And Japan was colonizing people long before WWII.
4
@cecileroy557 Bascially you people moved the goal post from "racism is wrong" to "racism is cool but White people aren't a race."
4
@kingkong-gn6oi . Isn’t it funny how no one asks these kind of questions when defining someone as a Brit or American or Texan or Brazilian. But when dealing with countries that aren’t founded by White people everyone magically loses their ability to distinguish race from nationality.
4
A Brown person representing Sweden in the Olympics is fine, and an Iranian winning Miss Germany is fine, but a White woman can't win a beauty pageant in Japan. You people in these comments make me sick.
4
@thesoulbrother8636 What nation of angels do you hail from, soul brother? South Africa where Shaka Zulu is hailed as a hero for killing 2 million people to claim a piece of land the size of New Jersey? Japan has a long history of colonialism but of course you don't care about that. Only elpoep etihW can inherit sins from our ancestors, right?
3
All the comments for half-Indian Miss Japan on this channel two years ago were of course, supportive. Just admit you hate White people for being born White.
3
Sacha Baron Cohen's original inspiration for Borat was a Russian guy he met. He chose Kazakhstan precisely it's a country people didn't know anything about. It made Kazakhstan a blank slate he could work with.
2
What's disturbing is that you thought Borat was in any way supposed to be an accurate depiction of Kazakhstan.
2
@cecileroy557 Absolute nonsense. I remember reading in my genetic textbook in High School (15 years ago) that Scandinavians were some of the most popular test subjects for scientific research because of their genetic homogeneity.
2
Already happened
2
She's stunning.
2
Shut up you logic monger!
2
Because hating America is fashionable.
2
@Nostogi A man of Asian descent is America's current hotdog eating championship. I guess he should step down because it hurts my feelings. 😪
2
Why does everyone magically lose the ability to distinguish race from nationality when dealing with any country that wasn’t founded by Caucasians? You have no problem wrapping your head around a Black Briton or Brown Canadian.
2
So what about Ms. South Carolina? What look do South Carolinians have, exactly? Sometimes the prettiest person happens to be White, just like sometimes the best chess player happens to be Yellow. Get over it.
1
@r-man3864 It's not to "expose Western ignorance." Some things are just funny and humor doesn't have to come at someone else's expense. Why are people so damn mean-spirited that they believe it does? Play this character in Japan or any other country nowhere near Kazahkstan and you'd get the same response. It's not because people are "ignorant" its because no one expects to be the target of a well orchestrated prank and when people are put on the spot, they'll always go along with absurdity in the heat of the moment. Even if they suspect they're being pranked or get suspicious, they wouldn't want to say anything for the sake of politeness. So many people like to judge those Sacha Baron Cohen "dupes" but I guarantee you'd be no different. Or do you think every person Sacha Baron Cohen pranks happens to be an idiot? Because no one has EVER said to him "This is an act, I see through you, you're a comedian in disguise" during one of his roosts. Nor do you see this behavior on any prank/hidden cameras shows.
1
Judging and limiting people by their heritage is considered an abomination in any other context, but of course its okay if they're White because White people are born evil, right?
1
I want to see people on this channel react to Asian stereotypes on shows like South Park.
1
And, the UK, at some point, had to decide to become non-homogenized. Let's be real, this has nothing to do with UK being "diverse", you simply believe everyone who's non-White has the right to be racist. I'd bet if a Brown woman won "Ms. Poland" you'd still be fine with it.
1
I think I'm going to be sick. No, the reason you'd be okay with a non-White person winning Ms. UK is because you hate yourself for being White. I'm sure if a Brown woman became Ms. Poland, you'd defend her too. Who's to say what's a "diverse" country? There are more ethnically homogeneous nations than Japan.
1
Why do we all have "insert country" teams in the Olympics?
1
Half of the people protesting this are SJWs, the other half are Neo-Nazis simping for Japanese race-based nationalism that they want to make a template for the West. Once again these groups are two peas in a pod.
1
So Napoleon wasn't really French, then.
1
No one would dare dispute that if she were any other color, or if this were taking place in a country that was mostly Caucasian.
1
Borat was NOT a satire of Kazakhstan. Sacha Baron Cohen's original inspiration for Borat was a Russian he met. He used Kazakhstan because it was an out-of-the-way country people knew nothing about, making it a blank slate he could work with.
1
I'd love to hear you say this publically about Ms. Germany, or Ms. France. You wouldn't dare.
1
Yes, and she’s a Japanese citizen. You wouldn’t dare say a Black person isn’t a real Briton because of his bloodline, so I ask again why everyone magically becomes unable to distinguish race from nationality when dealing with countries not founded by White people.
1
@shyeahright Stop playing dumb. Change it to "ethnically French" or "ethnically German" and the point still stands. If people made these kind of comments in response to a Brown woman winning in either of those countries you'd instantly be branded a Neo-Nazi.
1
@shyeahright Funny, you can tell who's White when you are complaining about a White girl winning a beauty pageant.
1
@BA-bo7kx Because 95% of the jokes about were about "Kazakstan." I don't truly believe Chuck Norris bleeds magma or pushes the Earth down when he does push-ups but I still laughed at those jokes.
1
Yet if White people try to have anything for ourselves racially we're considered worse than the devil.
1
But if White people want to have restaraunts, sports teams, etc. for our race we're considered worse than the devil.
1
Now try claiming something should belong to your race as a White person.

@indiafirst3676 Any European who tries to make "blood" a measure of someone's nationality in his come country is called a Neo-Nazi.
1
@indiafirst3676 No it is not. Sweden, Switzerland, and Finland never participated in colonialism, and they are some of the best off countries in Europe. Further, North Africa ruled over Southern Europe for over a thousand years. Mongolia had the largest empire in human history. Yet none of those lands are forced to diversify to pay penance for their colonial past.
1
@indiafirst3676 BS. Liberia, Lebanon, Congo, El Salvador, and Turkmenistan all have around the same population as Finland. Are they wealthy countries? The Mongol Empire collected "tributes" and the Muslim empires collected jizzya.
1
@indiafirst3676 you think Western empires didn’t develop infrastructure in their colonies?
1
@indiafirst3676 What are you basing any of this on? "During India’s time under British rule railroads became a preferred method of transportation around the world. As a result the British focused their time on creating and expanding the railway system within India. With time the railway system grew and in 1901 the railways in India were the longest in the world when measured by route mile[2]." - The Infrastructural Boom of Colonialism, Jessica Ackerman Liberia was never colonized, nor was Thialand, or Ethiopia. Those places are some of the poorest in the world. Meanwhile Portugal had colonies in Africa centuries before Germany, France, or Britian and yet its the poorest country in Western Europe.
1
@indiafirst3676 I’m looking at a railroad map of India from 1909 and I see railroads going all over. All you’re doing is making assumptions based on what you want to believe.
1
You wouldn't dare bring up "blood" if she was representing a country where most people were White.
1
Christ alive, dude, why would you believe for one second Sacha Baron Cohen has some kind of vendetta against Kazakhstan? The original inspiration for Borat was a Russian he met. He used Kazakhstan precisely because it's a country that Westerners know and care little about, making it a blank slate that was easy to work with it.
1
Oh please. America elected a Black President twice, does that mean we believe Black people are "better"? Sometimes the prettiest person just happens to be White. Get over it.
1
@user-nn2jo7so1o Bloodlines are not valued above all else in Judaism. Anyone can become a Jew. Israel's Jewish population comes from all over the world.
1
People have been "mixing" forever. You know where the term "Normandy" comes from? From the Normans, Scandinavians who moved into Northern France. Yet no one thinks of people in Normandy as being culturally seperate from France anymore, or being Scandinavians. Also its funny you mention the First Nations (Navajo, Apache, etc.). They had no concept of race. Plenty of White and Black people ran from "White" society to join theirs, and were accepted as full members.
1
Both are racism. The difference is someone who speaks out against a Black Ms. Japan is at least somewhat brave, because they have to bare the stigma of being seen as a Neo-Nazi, where as someone who speaks out against a White Ms. Japan is "progressive."
1
Not in that photo.
