  1. This was just pointless virtue signalling that's just going to breed more resentment and hostility. He should have let them ride and talked to them about their prejudices, explaining why he's not racist and all his positive experiences with POCs. Although I think the passengers were simply frustrated that a lot of their drivers were foreigners who couldn't speak English, and they expressed themselves poorly.

Although I suspect the passengers really just wanted someone who could understand English and didn't express themselves well.
