  1. 31 trillion in debt, and what has this spending brought us? Nothing but rage, bitterness, and demands for more and more. I remember we got 2 or 3 stimulus payments when COVID was basically over and all we did was whine and cry we didn't get more. Yet in the 2008 financial crash, during periods when unemployment was much worse, no private household got a check in the mail and yet no one complained.
