The AVERAGE PERSONAL INCOME in America is $48,000 a year. The difference between a $20 minimum wage and Communism is $8,000 a year. Christ alive, it's nice to know the vets of Korea and Vietnam died for nothing.

Even within a state wealth varies wildly. In Bridgeport CT, studio apartments go for about $500 a month. Twenty minutes away, in Stamford, they go for about $1200.

If America lived under Communism, we would all make $48,000 a year because that is the average personal income in the Untied States. The difference between a $20 minimum wage and Communism is $8,000 a year, or 20% of a salary. Let that sink in.

I actually voted AGAINST Trump last election, but I'm going to vote for him this year.

Jesus Herbert Walker Christ. The price of goods and services comes from NOWHERE but the price of labor. People WILL NOT have more purchasing power. What will happen is the poor will see prices go up on their apartments, their groceries, and all the sectors of society they rely on. For fucks sake, you cannot garuantee a standard of living with an amount of money. We both know if that America adopted Communism and everyone got $48,000 a year (that's the income you'd get if you pooled everyone's income and divided it equally), $48,000 would become worthless because of the negative pressure put on productivity. And the only difference between a $20 minimum wage and Communism is $8,000 a year.

Then you know nothing about economics.

The highest minimum wage has ever been relative to inflation was $1.60 ($11.55 in today's dollars) and that was in 1968. And for God's sake, there is no such thing as "cost of living." The cost of goods and services comes from NOTHING other than the price of labor.
