  2. America basically single handedly dealt with the AIDS and Malaria crisis in Africa, saving millions of lives through PEPFAR and PMI, and people barely even noticed. It was America that was their for Haiti after the quakes, and Pakistan after the floods. Every time there's a crisis, people call on America. The problem is our blunders get a lot more news time.

  7. It's easy for foreigners to know America and its history because that's what most of the movies and TV shows are about, even abroad. Most people know about their own country, and about America. It's not our fault that those two are the same thing here.
