  2.  @user-qy9rg3nt2l  After 30 years, I'm sure you're aware that Japanese use a lot of non-verbal communication, We generally indicate like/dislike with our attitude and not so much by words. It's very common for the wife to be in charge of all house-hold finances in Japan. That said, if you have trouble connecting with your partner, it may not be due to cultural differences. It may be more an issue with compatibility of personality. (As you should know "性格の不一致" is the number one reason for divorce in Japan. It's blanket excuse including everything from religion, money, food, children's education, hobbies, etc. )

  3.  @Amins88  I completely agree with you. Garlic, onions, etc...they do have an impact. I don't think it's genetics.
