@BrotherlyLove12 We don't do Jus Soli citizenship. You need at least one Japanese parent to claim Japanese citizenship. And US military bases in Japan are not under Japanese legal jurisdiction. So if you're born on a US military base in Japan to US parents, you're technically not born in Japan. Or more accurately, we have absolutely no legal records of your existence in Japan. (If I recall correctly, the legal address for US military bases in Japan was the State of California.)

I knew a Black French dude who was working as a nuclear engineer. He was highly cultured, sophisticated, and educated...unlike the black people from America who speak funny English and lack class.

@duomaxwell90 I'm sorry but I would do the same too when I see a black person in Japan. I fear it's far worse than simple skin color. It's based on collective experience, particularly many crimes by US soldiers in Japan.
