  1. 99% of emissions connected to your smartphone is on the stage of production and recycling. It's like that with most of devices. By not having solid right to repair laws, all devices will work shorter, therefore we will need more and more of them. Instead of changing a charging port, you will have to spend your money to buy a new one just a few years earlier... and again.....and again. Is it green? do the math
