I don't want any of the modern cars, no matter what engine it has, until they don't fix the independence issues. Car should not spy on you, gather commercial data, send your position to the producer, be able to be disabled or modified by the manufacturer without owner's key, and above all I should have right to take it to any car mechanic I want to be fixed. Sorry, I am going to drive my old smoking diesel truck as long as there is no true alternatives in the future.

@RazorMouth sure it does not, I am driving a 1990 nissan truck. It doesn't even have an ECU :)

@RazorMouth Sell me a truck that is free of company overreach, with not serialized replacement parts that I can actually buy from a third party, and one that doesn't lie about CO2 emisions (VW)....Never mind the truck, for the past 10 years I am searching for a rear axle for my truck with build in engine to convert it into electric, so far there was one startup company that got instantly taken over by the industry, before they was able to sell anything to anyone.
