I don't quite credit the term "homophobia". Phobia is an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion of smthn. The art of bonsai is all about contain. They discuss all the laws, not just chop through the bushes. It has nothing to do with extreme fear or aversion. If you really think they are biased, you should rather use the term homoaidia.

@danielarcadia7243 Honestly I agree with banning all ideological education in the school. No religion, no racism, no lgbt, no communism. It can be mentioned as something that is out there, but no one should set concrete standards in children mind as what they should think about it. Public education should be open for children from jew, christian, lgbt or racist homes. Personally for me, I don't have children, but I would rather spend time with my kid explaining astronomy or mathematics, rather than how Jesus stands against Karl Marx or how to explore ones sexuality.

@danielarcadia7243 well, it isn't that obvious. Sometimes their question isn't given a justice and the way it is passed in the schools is anything but scientific. Remember Galileo and Francis Galton. All I want to say is sometimes we can be right for wrong reasons and vice versa. This is up to a debate, that's where they are right.
