  1. It was exactly the result Australia needed at the time. It meant Turnbull and the party saw how upset the voters were with turfing Abbott, and yet not a win for the ALP which would have been disastrous ( like we are seeing with Albo) and left Turnbull without any mandate to fulfill his radical agenda- it was the best outcome we could have got given the terrible situation.
