You can't save LotR nor SW nor The Matrix. But you can support the exemplary work from independent creators who actually understand storytelling, dramatic structure, character archetypes, color palettes, and thematic underpinnings.

"Before I start, I must see my end. Destination known, my mind's journey now begins. Upon my chariot, heart and soul's fate revealed. In time, all points converge, hope's strength resteeled. But to earn final peace at the universe's endless refrain, we must see all in nothingness... before we start again."

That's because back then, Walt was both a visionary and a competent storyteller. Politics, grandstanding, and "highlighting the viewpoints and attitudes of the actors" weren't even on his radar as specks of dust. The goal of his projects weren't about the PERFORMANCES... it was about the production, messages of love, ethics, kindness, compassion, teamwork, sacrifice, and endurance. Instead, today's "Didnay" is nothing of the sort. It's all about marketing, promotion, cash grabs, manipulation, and other underhanded garbage. No envelopes are pushed, no visionaries within the company exist, and narcissists abound (obviously). ๐ In a way, it's GOOD that Walt isn't alive to see any of it. I doubt he'd have approved of "The A$$0lyte", either. ๐

That's what happens when good writers abound. Kinda like Ryan George (Pitch Meeting). Granted, there are others out there as well with far, far, FAAARRR less resources, coin, clout, computer code, etc.
