@vollied4849... I resonate. I'm an award-winning author, and I've been involved with production (acting, directing, writing, sound design, graphics, video, etc.) for 30+ years. Whenever I point out terrible writing or something others didn't catch, a THRONG of mockery, hatred, and other non-sequitur nonsense gets thrown my way. It's like... hey, I didn't say "you must agree with my viewpoints or else I'll pizz on yer tombstone". Nah, brah. 💪😎✌️ I expressed my (educated) opinion, and you stated yours. You don't see me mocking people with banal boolsheet like "your opinions are dumb". Nope; I just state MY viewpoint and also listen to YOURS. The fact that mine differs from other people's simply verifies that I think for myself. I don't need to agree with you nor anyone else on X, Y, or Z. In fact, it's probably better if we DON'T agree, because it prevents people from having a cheap and easy excuse not to have to THINK. 😂

Yup. Those with coin, connections, crews, clout, computer code, control, corporate communities, and lucrative opportunities have it all. They command how the algorithms work. That's the reality.

When mindless, tasteless videos are being seen millions of times, and yet intelligent, insightful, brilliant content is ignored, it's OBVIOUS what is going on with algorithms. They're pushing a "dumbing down" style agenda.

Actually, you can be destroyed by having ANY viewpoint. Social algorithms promote toxicity and banal bickering. If you believe "X", then people who are "anti-X" will pop up to heckle you. It's just the way it goes. Well... until you get censored, restricted, and "invisibilized" year after year after year. LOL

Popularity algorithms ruined everything. Janky automatic code turned video sites into playgrounds for the wealthy and connected to gain instant attention instead of independent creators getting their fair share of tiny yet supportive communities. 😕 It's like the way 'Zon forced its monopolies onto the globe; they dictate whether you'll see a book or product. And not a SINGLE soul would ever visit a MFC's site, or an author's webpage. Not one. That's just how it is.
