  1. The UK ministry of defense just said Russia has 97% of its forces in Ukraine. But here they say Russia hasn't positioned its forces to start an offensive. The is the 1st round of the offensive. THe major advantage of NATO is its miliary intellegence. US satellites and radar planes provide the target coordinates for HiMars rockets and other precision nunitions. Russia has to find a way to blunt this. Either radio jamming (very difficult) or using lasers on US spy satellites. If Russia is able to achieve parity in military intel, their larger fighting force will sweep across the country, beyond the Donbass.
