Which country in the world is the most militarily agressive by far, invaded Iraq and killed 1 million Iraqi civilians? (Not to mention 60 years ago invaded Vietnam and killed 2 million Vietnamese? Is the EU afraid that the US will invade a European country? Or levy crippling sanctions against a European country? The EU is now more dependent on China economically than the US. The EU goes along with the US primarily out of fear. The US did bomb Nord Stream. And Germany will now de-industrialize because of it. In order to save themselves Germany companies will move to China but this means 100's of 1000's of German jobs will go to China. The bombing of Nord Stream has other implications, it meant 200 billion in excess profits for US oil giants in 2022. Ukraine, in fighting a proxy war is loosing 100's of 1000's lives. For the EU it's economy has been sacrificed to maintain US neocon's global hegemony. The people of the EU understand (even though the propaganda is overwhelmingly anti-China) that the US is responsible for their lowered living standard. But the leaders are afraid of angering the neocons, frozen and paralyzed to inaction. (In the UK the govt is simply telling their people, you're poor get used to it.) Europe is suffering so that in the future US neocons can invade another country like Iraq and get away with it.
