  1. Why does Nancy want to go to Taiwan NOW? The democratic party is almost certain to lose the mid-terms. Biden is so unpopular a majority of democrats don't want him to run for re-election. Something really dramatic has to happen to change this political death spiral. A war. One might even say that was a reason why democrats started the Ukraine war. It has never happend that a president's approval sank in the middle of war. Only Joe Biden could do that. So Nancy will come to the rescue and start a major incident with China even larger than the Ukraine war to save the democratic party. One has to ask the question, how does this trip help Nancy Pelosi? How does poking China in the eye help Nancy Pelosi 4 months before the mid-terms? To start a major incident to save her job as speaker, is the only answer I can come up with.
