  1. Were the armed groups Wagner was fighting funded by the CIA? In central and south america the CIA already has infiltrated all of the national miltaries. That's why it was so easy for the CIA to engineer milititary ooups to remove troublesom demoncratic governemnts. In Syria the CIA for a while backed ISIS and Al Quida, paid them to attack the Syrian gov. The closest thing the US has to Wagner was the Blackwater group. Blackwater supplied security for US diplomats in Iraq. While they were mercenaries, they were given immunity for any/all crimes in Iraq including murder by the US govt. But Blackwater never became as large as Wagner.
