  1. The LFP battery will replace the cobalt maganese nickle battery within a year, 2 at the most. The reason is the # of cycles it can be recharged. Li, cobalt... can be recharged 300~500 times an LFP battery 3,500 times or more. No one will want to buy a car and spend 20,000 for a new battery every 3 years. A few years ago, there was a big buzz about solid state batteries and Quantum Scape company. Today folks are talking about CATL's sodium battery. The sodium battery doesn't need cobalt it doesn't need lithium. And it also can be recharged 3,500 times. Most important it may be end up at 1/2 the price of LFP. Can the US catch up? What's the future of companies like Quantum Scape?
