  1. Lots of misinformation. EVs are expensive ONLY because of the 100% tariffs on Chinese EV. Put a 100% tax on domestic ICE cars and they are even more unaffordable. And the power to Charge EVs don't have to come from fossile fuels. Solar is by far the cheapest form of energy. And the US govt subsidizes oil companies. Nat gas has already forced many coal power plants and coal mines to shut down, NOT because Nat Gas emits less CO2 but because nat gas is cheaper. If we allow free markets to run our economy we'd covert to solar very quickly. We're doing this very slowly because our Govt has put huge tariffs on Chinese solar panels and associated equipment. Our govt does not allow a free market in EVs and solar and wind energy and we suffer because of it. We suffer both in higher costs of energy, higher cost of EV, but also higher cost is polution and our health, and higher cost in everything that require a lot of energy to make. Steel, Alum. fertilizer, chemicals, cement. We say we're a capitist country but we're really an oligopoly where megadonors control our congress and our white house and use govt regulations to crush free markets.
