  3. the taliban and mujahidin are not the same thing styx. yes, elements of the mujahidin broke off and formed the taliban but a faction of northern tribes didnt and stayed loyal to the us forces that helped them defeat the russians. however the taliban, and al quaeda targeted tribal leaders for assassination and the OWEbama administration left them out to dry.
