Comments by "TheThirdMan" (@thethirdman225) on "Toyota's Developing A Hydrogen Combustion Engine!" video.
Hydrogen isn’t created, it’s extracted. It’s also extremely power intensive. There was a study done which showed that a country like Germany would need to increase its electricity production by 20-25% to service an all electric system. For hydrogen, that figure is 125%. Another problem is that the hydrogen atom is so small that it leaks from virtually any storage system, not just the tank.

@rnp9876 That process is going to level off pretty quickly. In ten years, batteries will be 80% recycled.

@rnp9876 This is ten year-old oil industry propaganda.

Great explanation once again. Thanks! I have heard that a hydrogen burning engine has a very narrow power band. I also heard that it burns very hot. Can anyone verify this please?

That’s two engineering dead ends in one car.

@dulanawijeratne7518 That sounds like Lloyd Christmas.

They had to refuel 35 times to cover 1,634 kms… LOL!! Am I the only one who noticed this.
