  2. We were just there 2 weekends ago. Did you go to the lighthouse? You can walk out there at low tide. They have tours inside, but we just like to go out and enjoy the view. This last trip we actually stayed in Hiouchi, just a bit inland from CC. From there we traveled on some forest service roads to check out some hiking trails and we also looked at some campgrounds. We noticed that there were a few dispersed camping areas that were pretty, but definitely no facilities. We might try them sometime. The Smith River is gorgeous! We love how crystal clear it is. Btw, sometimes when we are in the heat we add some pink Himalayan sea salt and some fresh sqeezed lemon juice to our water. I get headaches in the heat and have to stay extra hydrated. Believe it or not, chocolate milk is also very hydrating. Sometimes I drink that at the end of a hike. Thanks for sharing your views and experiences! 🏞

  3.  @StaticCamperVan  😊👍 We didn't go look at it when we went through there last time, but in the spring/summer, the hill on which it resides is covered with bright pink flowers. 🌺
