@TheThreatenedSwan "Most non-Western nations are extremely chauvinistic" Most non-western nations are extremely critical of themselves. Its only the western nations that constantly claim to have higher standard, while having many of the same shit and way more white collar crime.

@TheThreatenedSwan Have I been to internet? Kid, I'm here from the 90s. And I'm not from a western nation, so think of that for a moment. And what u feel like Chauvinism, is just us claiming where we excel or excelling, where ur ideals are actually BS, despite what u say. The actual chauvinism here is your claim of these behavior to be chauvinist. Cos here its u can't accept the fact that in many places your ideals are hypocritical, or nonsense or downright self-delusional.

@TheThreatenedSwan And oh! I've never seen anyone (except for some ultranationalist religious zealot) from the subcontinent to claim ourselves to be the top dog. We're not, and we know that all too well. I regularly see loads of people from subcontinent to claim this place to be The shithole. But I've seen a bunch of regular Americans to claim American exceptionalism nonetheless. The less educated ones might outright brag. The more educated ones (this is common among Europeans too) will act and behave as thought their understanding of the world and their ideals are absolute peak of human existence. In my entire life, I live in the subcontinent, and I've never seen educated people act like that except westerners.
