  2. THIS CURRCULUM WAS WRITTEN BY A BLACK HISTORIAN HIMSELF THE DESCENDANT OF SLAVES! And to say that slaves learned nothing - they just toiled - is itself racist bec it denies their inherent worth as human beings! It's a fact! And after slavery, many former slaves had skills that allowed them to integrate into society including becoming farmers themselves and even members of Congress! REMEMBER - IT WAS THE SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS WHO WERE THE PARTY OF SLAVERY, THE KKK AND JIM CROW!

  4. 80 people shot – 11 dead in just the last two weekends in Chicago including a young mother gunned down at a Hawaiian themed birthday party. Another woman was shot 8 times! This is almost all black on black violence. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be appalled if he were alive today!
