A stark reminder of everyone's mortality and the frailty of life. Enjoy it while you have it. It's the only one you have.

@tabby73 You consider wild speculation or wishing as possible without very compelling evidence. There's no evidence for a life after this one, nor any plausible mechanism for how consciousness might survive beyond the destruction of the body. There is no life after death. Grow up.

@tabby73 Go on, double down on your superstitious ignorance - that'll work. Lol indeed.

@tabby73 You came at me with your passive aggressive "SMH" in the first comment and set the tone so don't pull the hurt lamb act with "You seem to know what I believe " and "It's called keeping an open mind" bullshit now. Have you adopted a wait and see attitude to whether Zeus is king of the gods, or you can live on nothing but air as some people claim? Of course not, because you engage your brain and go with the science, but on THIS issue, all of a sudden you turn into little miss anything is possible. Do you believe in aliens that live in the sun? Why not? It's called keeping an open mind. You should try it sometime. That's precisely how dumb you sound to me right now. There's absolutely proof. People die. They report nothing. People lose part of their brains, and with it, part of their personality or skills or memory. There is an undeniable correlation between the brain and consciousness. There is literally NO mechanism by which consciousness can exist without a physical form to house it. You are the posterchild for the saying "Don't keep such an open mind that your brain falls out."
