  2. So much of this is down to government mismanagement. Britain should have NEVER been dependent upon foreign energy when we have the technological means to produce our own. Successive governments are responsible for our vulnerability.

  4.  @nemurenai-P  Using nuclear or renewables wouldn't lead to starvation. I don't even see the line between your source of energy and starvation. The important thing is an energy policy with lots of redundancy.
