  1.  @SS-kp7hw  No they don't. All evidence shows that the death penalty INCREASES the likelihood of violence when they have no reason for moderation.

  3.  @SS-kp7hw  I think that it might be fair to say that it's a PRE-crime deterrent, but then once a crime has been committed, it makes murder more likely.
