It concerns me that economic concerns are being put first so often. If the entire economy was suspended for 6 months - bills and payments, the world would not die - just some investors and rich people would not be able to buy a third yacht this year. If 10% of the population die, the long term economic implications will be devastating. I'm sure that people are eager to get out and eat and drink again as I crertainly am, but I'll be cautious about being in a small room with dozens of strangers until I see the virus stay down.

@BobMarley-vl5gl In the US perhaps. In Britain, you could lose 90% of all business and provided people still had food and homes everyone would be fine. The economy exists primarily to feed itself. It's a construct, erroneously given weight because the powerful benefit from it.
