  2. I'm not a fan of stupid beliefs. If people want to believe they're talking to their dead relatives or drinking magic potions, I think it's silly without evidence that it works, but they're welcome to do so. But when people use their claims in supernatural beings to be shitty to people, that's where I draw that line.

  7. Utter nonsense. Atheists make no claims to be good. It's like claiming that people who don't drink coffee claim to be good. It's such a diverse group of people that to claim anything about atheists is meaningless. Christians and Muslims however, follow rules explicitly laid down in their holy books. Many of those rules are repugnant. As for God, well, you'd have to demonstrate that such a being even exists before I'd acknowledge anyone's merits relative to him/her/it. But you are right about one thing, all humans are imperfect in varying degrees. Everyone has done many bad things. But the difference between Christians and atheists is when we do good things, you don't have to wonder if we're only doing them to avoid punishment or gain the favour of some celestial wagging finger.

  9. If you're going to accuse people of stupidity, learn how to read first. I said nothing about killing people who don't share my beliefs. I said the RELIGIONS need to be eradicated, not the people who practice them. That said, there ARE many practitioners who are a clear and present, life and death danger to those who disagree with them, and they should be treated just like any other enemy combatant. People can hold whatever moronic beliefs they like, but when those beliefs are translated into OFFENSIVE (as opposed to defensive) action, then those people become hostile forces. Whatever your beliefs, do you not believe that you have the right to defend yourself against people who are actively seeking to kill you? Wouldn't you have shot the 9/11 hijackers if you were on one of those planes with a gun?
