  1. I find it hard to believe a shield intended for horse back use had a strap that wrapped around the neck. If you pull the shield it can unmount you but at least you can let the shield go if if is only mounted through the arm. On the neck you are getting dismounted, and possibly sustain a serious neck injury in the process.
