  1. +Redesigning Democracy I was not referring to setting up ISAs, I was referring to the wilful dishonesty that almost every self employed person I have ever known participates in whilst filling in their tax returns. As for criticising - would you prefer that he does NOT criticise anything dodgy from which he or his family have ever benefitted? Isn't that a little like saying a criminal can never reform? I do appreciate your arguments, and I don't disregard them. As I say, I'm ambivalent on the issue.

  2. What British self employed tax payer does NOT do his utmost to minimise his tax liability? I'm a little ambivalent over this story, especially as this was primarily his FATHER'S money, not David's. That said, OF COURSE rich scumbag politicians are scumbags.
