  1. The sooner the institution ends, the better. Undeserved privilege, reinforcement of power by birthright, and the sheltering of criminals, all paid for by the British tax payer. How any royalist finds that acceptable is beyond me.

  3.  @Dracoti  The cost/benefits of the crown have been debated and disassembled time and again and shown not to be as beneficial as people like you claim. The greatest value of the royals is the property, not the people. In fact Andrew and Harry and Phillip have all been liabilities. If the Royal family was a company, they'd all rightly have been fired. As for being part this country's heritage; so is slavery, children working 18 hours a day in dangerous factories, the tax collectors checking teenage girls to ensure that they were virgins, and not having the vote. An appeal to heritage is about the most facile argument you could have made. But yeah, I'M the moron. GTFOOH!
