  1. No wonder there's a problem. Jeez, manhood academy taking then on safaris, half the people making excuses and saying that it's not even their fault that they carry knives, that strident woman at the front adding nothing but noise. How can ANYONE possibly argue that this is not an issue that starts at the youngest age in their communities? I don't know what the solution is, but it has to start with education. Maybe empowerment is part of it. Maybe spending is part of it but it's massively naive to simply demand a billion pounds back. Maybe the rest of the nation wants that money spent on services that THEY can benefit from? But the solutions start with decent homes, good parenting, two parent families. This is a truism anywhere in the western world that there is crime. Teach these youngsters to take responsibility, rather than seeing themselves as victims.
