  1. In every country in the world, a woman who is too mentally ill to safely manage her own affairs, would have somebody controlling her affairs. The difference is, in many nations, she'd have been put into a mental institution or disappeared by her husband. At least in Western democracy, women do not have to hide behind burkahs, and get stoned for adultery.

  2. Hilarious to see this presented as though ANY of these peopel actually helped. I'm happy for Britney - this seemed like a morally questionable situation, but I wonder if this conservatorship may have infantilised her more, but so long as she is safe to be free, it's her right to mess up her life.
