  1. If you give period leave to one woman, EVERY woman will demand it whether they need it or not. Then every company will have to hire 15% more staff to cope with the deficit, and feminists will complain that they don't earn as much. This is an ABYSMAL idea, and no surprise to see it justified with the thoroughly debunked pay gap myth. That said Catherine came across as dismissive and out of touch in the second half of the piece. Perhaps a little empathy might help her.
