  1. You DO realise that this stuff is not unusual in any prison in the US right? What's the saying about absolute power corrupting absolutely? The Stanford experiment demonstrated 40 years ago, how giving people that kind of control over the lives of others turned the "guards" into a bunch of sadistic scum. The real issue, is why are so many people being locked up in a civilised (ha ha ha) country. I'm sure the for-profit prison system has nothing to do with it...
