  1. Totally disagree. The term "conscientious objector is not, and should not be subject to justification according to YOUR, or society's definition of valid causes. Who is ANYONE to define the value of someone else's causes for conscience?However, conscientious objectors have NEVER been immune to the CONSEQUENCES of their objection. Anyone should have the ABSOLUTE right to refuse to do whatsoever they wish, provided they are prepared to accept whatever consequences result from that. Otherwise we'd all be slaves of the state. It doesn't seem that the Pope said anything different to that.
