  1. Everything about this presentation is moronic. If affordability was the criterion for value, every idea that was expensive to work up initially, would never be developed. Good luck with your cures for AIDS and Malaria, good luck inventing the computer, and ever hoping to leave this planet before it becomes unliveable. It's not ideas that are at fault, nor valuing them, the fault lies in the ability to perform a  timely and accurate cost to deliverability to benefit analysis. Ideas are ABSOLUTELY the currency of innovation.

  2. "is that amateurs think of strategy and professionals think of logistics" Except if you study some of the greatest companies, they don't put cost first because logistics stifles innovations. So I disagree that "professionals" think of logistics. Accountants think of logistics, and how have they ever furthered the planet?
