  4.  @johnnyz2378  Same overall period and theater of battle though. A bit like the demise of SMS Dresden in WWI is typically tied in with the prior destruction of Von Spee's squadron near the Falkland Islands.

  5.  @soppa24  Well there's that... and that the RN was the first to use a Torpedo in a sea battle (by HMS Shar; albeit that it missed the target), and the first to sink a ship with an air dropped one (during WWI).

  6.  @gregorywright4918  That's less clear; though the RN had a few long range torpedoes too. (the type used on the Nelson class in particular; though they had the benefit of also being unusually large for a torpedo)
