  1. One missed detail of note is that the Queen Anne's Revenge was originally a British armed merchantman, built in Bristol around 1710. (being then lost to french privateers, before her capture by Blackbeard years after) Some doubt remains as to this origin, but no alternative home country has been suggested nor proven thus far (as far as I know).
