@arthas640 Soviet invasion of afghanistan had very small casualties too in 10 years they lost 14k thats miniscule compared to how much afghanistan lost. Furthermore, nato provides intelligence to ukraine and its an open secret in the conflicts you mentioned the U.S side enjoyed unmatched superiority in technology so the analogy in your argument holds no water

@Flight_of_Icarus Its not impressive because afghanistan had no supporters on the other hand when the ussr fought in afghanistan the U.S gave full support to the afghans and despite that the ussr lost a mere 14k troops in the span of 10 YEARS!

I could travel half the world with my navy if its unopposed, there is nothing special about it anyone can do it. Ukraine is being supplied with intelligence from naton on every position of russian troops name me a country the u.s fought that enjoyed this much support?
