@kasjamm My reply was proving that fact that the majority of the Japanese did in fact face subjugation as extreme as black Americans but overcame it. Yes, it is true that American blacks were subjugated and discriminated against for the majority of time they've been in this country, but that was still far less time than the Japanese suffered. Besides, slavery and Jim Crow does not exist today either. In fact, what we have today is actually black privilege in the form of quota systems and affirmative action programs that give blacks priority placement in positions that they do not qualify for. Furthermore, the majority of time that blacks have been in bondage was at the hands of other blacks while they were still on the African continent - not in America. Slavery did not start in the Americas. It is a very old practice that stretches back thousands of years to the beginning of civilization and has included every race and culture - not just blacks. Prior to 1865, be aware that there were black freedman plantation owners in America who also owned black slaves. Black on black slavery still exists in Africa today. And FYI, up to a million white European Christians were held as slaves by Muslims in North Africa between 1530 and 1780. So in terms of being enslaved, blacks aren't really all that special. And believe it or not, whites actually do not have a monopoly on being assholes. Today, opportunities abound for blacks. Nothing is holding you back except yourself.
