@michialharris1850 They haven't had much luck treating adult sex offenders as far as I have heard.

@martaleona3733 I was in an adolescent treatment center that was half full of pedophiles. I think what she said doesn't completely fit. I think power and control is a part of why pedophiles abuse. I think they often feel like abusing more when they feel powerlessness. Innocence can be found better without abusing the innocent. So that doesn't make sense to me.

@bunk95 Adults can certainly harm non-adults sexually. I know this for a fact. Don't fool yourself. You will just end up hurting lots of young people and could land yourself into prison.

@KhoaNguyen-sy6np I don't know. At any rate it still hurts the victims the same no matter what the motivation. I guess motivation is important for treatment. But they don't give adults much treatment in my country and supposedly it doesn't work. Maybe treatment can help minors who offend - I think so.

@bunk95 Of course there are pedophiles. They aren't a fantasy. Humans become inhuman numerous ways but it is important to stop abuse. Abuse can cause more inhumanity.
