  1. I was thinking, committing suicide could be seen as a sin (not that long ago people who committed suicide were buried outside the walls of the churchyard where I grew up). But what if she did not actively did it but rather decided to passively let herself be overcome with the elements? She did not get someone accompany her on her trip, she seemed sad over not being visited? It's a beautiful landscape though if the alternative is being being heading to an elderly care facility, with people around yet lonely?

  2. However, I can believe that more than a few could think it's not a bad way to go if you're elderly and don't want to become dependent of someone. If starting to notice you're becoming more frail, old friends are showing up more frequently in the obituaries etc.
